The Creation of Phishd

It all started with our CEO and Founder, James Moore. He set out into the cyber security world armed with an impressive background in offensive penetration testing and a clear vision of creating a new solution to pioneer simulated phishing solutions; with this, he started Phishd.

2013
ACQUISITION & CultureAI BEGINNINGS

Five years later, Phishd, along with MWR InfoSecurity and Countercept, was acquired by F-Secure as part of a 103-million-dollar deal. James and the Phishd team then created CultureAI to assist companies in improving their employees' security behaviour through personalised training programs.

2018
QUICK EXPANSION & CLIENT DIVERSITY

Even though CultureAI is still in its infancy, it quickly gained recognition and welcomed multiple organisations from various sectors, including finance and government, seeking to transform their security culture.

2019
PASSION CAPITAL INVESTMENT & GROWTH2020

At the start of 2020, gaining significant traction with organisations paid off as CultureAI received investment support from Passion Capitol and used this new funding to improve the CultureAI platform by introducing its security culture management system and CyberScore app for users to use at home to see their personal cyber security risks.

2020
SEED FUNDING & TEAM GROWTH

CultureAI received its largest cash injection to date and raised 4 million dollars through seed investment which meant they could take the company and platform to the next level. The first priority was ensuring the right people were in place to achieve so; therefore, the team doubled in size in preparation for more innovations in the security awareness industry.

2021
REVENUE SURGE & GTM STRATEGY2022

These changes had a positive impact as CultureAI quadrupled its revenue by winning big household names to add to its already impressive and growing portfolio of clients. A new focus was put on a new GTM function that helped grow the team from 9 to 25 new employees. From a business perspective, opportunities continued to grow with an impressive 100% demo-to-pilot conversion rate.

2022
TARGETS EXCEEDED, NEW INVESTMENTS & OFFICES

Five years after CultureAI first began, all targets and goals for the company are being exceeded, which means that investors have invested another X million dollars into CultureAI to continue revolutionising the human risk management space. As the company continues to grow, a new office is opening in Chancery Lane, London, in February and a new larger office in Manchester from April to accommodate the expanding team and improve collaboration.
